Job Title: Admin Assistant
Location: Mee Toh School, 21 Edgedale Plains, Singapore 828867
Duration of Service Contract: July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break)
- Fridays: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the School Admin Team with filing, photocopying, and data entry tasks.
- Support office administration including data collation, stores management, logistics, and customer service.
- Disseminate information pertaining to school programs such as circulars and parents’ messages.
- Maintain General Office record books for loan items.
- Provide administrative support in various school-related tasks.
- Receive incoming mails and delivery of goods.
- Assist in ad hoc duties as needed by the Admin Department.
- Assist in printing worksheets/examination papers in the printing room.
- Communicate with teachers regarding parents’ feedback/messages from phone calls or walk-in parents.
- Maintain customer-related information when required, e.g., phone log.
- Assist in managing program-related inquiries.
- Support in designing and preparing teaching materials, posters, props, etc., for school programs.
- Assist in school projects and events by preparing materials or rendering logistic/admin support.
- Assist in first aid for minor injuries.
- Assist students in times of need, e.g., lost & found items, change of uniform, locating teacher/classroom/parent.
- Perform any other duties assigned by School Leaders.
Qualifications:
- GCE “O” levels or equivalent experiences
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Minimum 1 year of experience in admin duties/customer service in a primary school environment
