Job Description: Admin Assistant

Job Title: Admin Assistant

Location: Mee Toh School, 21 Edgedale Plains, Singapore 828867

Duration of Service Contract: July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025

Working Hours:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break)
  • Fridays: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break)

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the School Admin Team with filing, photocopying, and data entry tasks.
  2. Support office administration including data collation, stores management, logistics, and customer service.
  3. Disseminate information pertaining to school programs such as circulars and parents’ messages.
  4. Maintain General Office record books for loan items.
  5. Provide administrative support in various school-related tasks.
  6. Receive incoming mails and delivery of goods.
  7. Assist in ad hoc duties as needed by the Admin Department.
  8. Assist in printing worksheets/examination papers in the printing room.
  9. Communicate with teachers regarding parents’ feedback/messages from phone calls or walk-in parents.
  10. Maintain customer-related information when required, e.g., phone log.
  11. Assist in managing program-related inquiries.
  12. Support in designing and preparing teaching materials, posters, props, etc., for school programs.
  13. Assist in school projects and events by preparing materials or rendering logistic/admin support.
  14. Assist in first aid for minor injuries.
  15. Assist students in times of need, e.g., lost & found items, change of uniform, locating teacher/classroom/parent.
  16. Perform any other duties assigned by School Leaders.

Qualifications:

  • GCE “O” levels or equivalent experiences
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in admin duties/customer service in a primary school environment
