Our client, a renowned Building contractor firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Quantity Surveyor (1 year contract).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in preparation of tender submission;
- Responsible for measurement of quantities & cost estimation;
- Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive the tender pricing;
- Study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities;
- Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative on claims and variation costs;
- Prepare budget statement monthly and review by Superior;
- Review and verify the Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from relevant parties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
- Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Have good knowledge of the market updates and construction cost trend
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Location: East
- Working hours: 5 days, depending on project requirements
- Salary: up to S$4,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
