Description of Key Job Duties:
1. Establish Government Relations Network:
- Identify and maintain connections and communication with Singapore and other overseas government-relevant bodies to foster active collaboration and project engagements.
2. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop the company's strategies in government relations, ensuring alignment with the overall organizational strategy.
- Assist in formulating and executing projects and initiatives in collaboration with governments to support long-term company objectives.
3. Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the Public Affairs and Branding departments in China to ensure seamless information dissemination and strategic alignment in government relations.
4. Government Policy Analysis:
- Track and analyze government policies, regulations, and development trends in Singapore and overseas, providing timely recommendations to the management.
5. Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders such as government bodies, industry associations, non-governmental organizations, representing the company in government and industry activities.
6. Personal Assistant Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all communications.
- Conduct research and compile information as needed to support decision-making and projects undertaken by the executive.
- Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Skills Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or corporate public relations is advantageous.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese counterparties.
- Familiarity with government structures and operations in Singapore and China, understanding the political, legal, economic, and societal environments in both regions.
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, capable of representing the company in communications and negotiations with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to formulate long-term strategies and drive their implementation, with strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
