Overview


As the CFO of SIMPPLE LTD, you will hold a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance function in the dynamic PropTech sector. Leading a high performance team, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving sustainable growth.


Roles and Responsibilities


1. Financial Leadership:

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the board and executive team, contributing to the overall direction of SIMPPLE LTD.

• Develop and implement innovative financial strategies to support the company's vision and long-term objectives.


2. Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of finance professionals, overseeing their day-to-day activities and fostering a culture of excellence.

• Develop the team's skills and capabilities, ensuring alignment with the company's evolving needs.


3. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

• Direct the FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Provide actionable insights derived from financial data, supporting informed decision-making across the organization.


4. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the integrity of financial information.


5. Fundraising and Capital Management:

• Take a lead role in fundraising activities, optimizing the capital structure, and ensuring effective utilization of funds.

• Collaborate with external partners and financial institutions to secure necessary capital for strategic initiatives.


6. Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

• Lead the M&A team in evaluating and executing potential opportunities, ensuring alignment with SIMPPLE LTD's growth strategy.

• Manage due diligence processes, negotiations, and integration efforts for successful transactions.


7. Corporate Governance:

• Establish and maintain high standards of corporate governance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and uphold the company's reputation.


Experience


• At least 7 years of proven executive-level experience as a CFO and/or in a similar finance leadership role within a tech sector

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing finance teams.

• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.

• Track record of successful fundraising, financial management, and M&A activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.

• Extensive experience in finance leadership roles within publicly listed companies.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting and compliance.

• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance requirements.

• Strong understanding of SEC regulations and financial disclosure obligations for listed

companies.


Educatonal Qualifications


• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA).

• Professional certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public

Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable.

• Extensive experience in finance leadership roles within publicly listed companies.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting and compliance.

• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance requirements.

• Strong understanding of SEC regulations and financial disclosure obligations for listed

companies.
