Job Description
- Generate Sales for the company under Freight Forwarding & Liner Division.
- Provide FCL & LCL Sea freight quotations to overseas customers and domestic
customers. - Ensure timely rate updates and market tendency communication with all parties
involved. - Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential new clients.
- Good regular customer account in hand to secure business.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database of
prospective client information. - Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, forecasting; and maintain shortand long-term business development plans.
- Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up.
- Collect market feedback and work closely with Pricing / Procurement Team.
- Deal with liner on slot operators around Singapore.
- Offer solution to agent for shipment /space, all matters related to shipment.
Job Requirements
- Must have in-depth knowledge about the Singapore & Far East market of freight
forwarding industry. - Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Customer focused with proactive attitude.
- Candidate must have at least 5+ years working experience in the field of Logistics & Freight Forwarding / Shipping Company.
- Candidate must have target business & good client range in hand.
- Microsoft Office skills.
