Position Objective and Summary
- To ensure all waste types are properly identified, received, sorted, treated and disposed of within regulatory requirements
- Monitor, plan and organise the waste/wastewater treatment system processing activities
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- To ensure Evaporator systems running smoothly with pre-set parameters
Main tasks /Activities / Responsibilities
- To operate the Evaporator systems safely according to protocol, work procedures & SOPs and to advise line supervisor of any abnormality
- Assist with incoming waste management and system & equipment maintenance
- Conduct sampling of treated waste samples as instructed by line Lead
- Work with Line Lead, Operation Manager and Consultants to eliminate any possible bottlenecks in waste treatment procedures
- To ensure company’s treatment procedures are in line with regulatory requirements
Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills etc.)
- Willingness to communicate & build rapport with team of diverse cultures
- Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management
- Experience working in EHS and Permit-To-Work system
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to assist on the ground when the need arises
- Able to speak, read and write in English and Chinese
- Able to perform 12hr rotating shift, with OT
- Experience in evaporator & process plant supervisory role will be advantageous
