Internship Interior Designer (6 months)

Ri Luxury Pte. Ltd.

Responsibilities:


Space Planning and Design:

  1. Collaborate with the design team to create efficient and aesthetically pleasing interior layouts for our offices and retail boutiques.
  2. Assist in developing 2D and 3D design concepts that align with the company's brand and vision.

Material and Furniture Selection:

  1. Research and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of each space.
  2. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source and procure selected materials and furniture.

Project Documentation:

  1. Contribute to the development of design presentations, mood boards, and design documentation for internal and client review.
  2. Assist in the creation of detailed design specifications and drawings.

Site Visits and Coordination:

  1. Attend site visits to understand the existing conditions and ensure that the design vision is implemented accurately.
  2. Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and smooth execution of design plans.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with the broader design team to integrate interior design concepts seamlessly with overall project goals.
  2. Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a diploma/ degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute creatively to projects.
