We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our dynamic operations team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and sales maximization.
Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our operations team consisting of 10-15 coordinators.
Your primary focus will be on achieving operational excellence, maximizing sales revenue, enhancing customer service, ensuring operational efficiency and reducing costs.
This is a hands-on role. You will be required to perform coordinating work together with the team on a regular basis, leading the frontline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee & manage the entire day-to-day operations to achieve excellent outcomes across all departments, consisting of:Sales - Maximize sales revenue by improving sales strategies and execution.
Tutor-matching - Ensure that tutor-matching is done in a prompt and convincing manner with integrity
Prospecting - Create a warm & professional customer service experience and maximize revenue opportunities
Payments - Efficiently manage accounts receivable, retrieve payments in a timely manner to reduce bad debts, provide after-sales follow-up
Corporate-Sales - Connect with partners and service them well regularly to provide additional revenue and grow this new department
- Hire, onboard, and train new coordinators to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Manage headcount to meet operational needs and optimize manpower efficiency, streamline operations to improve profit margins.
- Provide inspirational leadership, maintain high staff morale and reduce staff turnover rate by fostering a positive and productive work culture emphasizing hard work, excellence, and integrity.
- Create a fair, meritocratic work environment that rewards good performers and deal with disciplinary issues firmly and fairly
- To continuously develop, implement and review operational procedures and policies to improve operations
- Facilitate clear communication and updates to directors. Provide a monthly report of sales, operational updates, and forecasting to directors
- To ensure company is protected against losses, financial or otherwise by implementing control measures against business threats
- Able to come up with business growth ideas to generate more revenue for the company over time
Requirement:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years experience of operations management
- Experience in sales & customer service
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think from the company's perspective
- A commitment to delivering the highest standards of service.
