Job Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for vessels Accounts Payable
- Timely processing of vendor invoices electronically
- Responsible for vessels payments via internet banking
- Responsible for accounting entries for vessels A/P function
- Assist in GST reporting
- Assist in month-end closing and annual audit
- Banking and Reconciliation: Handle bank transactions, reconcile bank statements
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting responsibilities and other duties as assigned
Requirements:-
Possess a minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Good interpersonal skill, independent and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Meticulous with strong analytical skills and able to multi-task
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in shipping industry will be an added advantage
