Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to cost-effectively acquire the necessary products from a pool of efficient vendors who can deliver quality goods on time
- Assist subsidiaries in ensuring that K.U.S products are manufactured safely, cost-effectively, timely and that they meet the required quality standards by implementing an efficient and economic production process.
- Implement warehousing plans to improve warehouse operations and maximise space utilisations.
- Implement logistics strategies to assist subsidiaries in achieving a cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation and meet customer’s satisfaction.
- Assist in ensuring supply chain processes are in accordance with the government legislations, regulations and trade agreements and suit the changing market conditions.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, process manuals and forms to assist in providing definite direction and support to the subsidiaries’ day to day operations and ensure their compliance.
- Monitor the subsidiaries’ performance and follow up until the desired results are achieved.
- Control Supply Chain-owned software to ensure full control on the functionality, access security and information running in the system.
- Ensure departmental performance in accordance with company's corporate goals.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply chain, mechanical engineering or equivalent
- At least one to three years relevant experience in related field
- Familiar to import and export process
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills, resourceful with good analytical abilities
- Possess effective organization and follow up skills, paying attention to details
- Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and effectively
- Ability in multi languages will be an advantage.
