My client is a global technology and engineering leader that provides solutions for customers in industrial. With deep domain expertise and a legacy of flawless execution, my client helps customers in critical industries operate more sustainably while improving productivity, energy and reliability.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales manager to promote their software system used to optimize propulsion and reduction of emission technology to the marine industry. Preferably individuals who have sales experience selling marine propulsion technology, system and/or engines used by the marine industry.
Job Description
- Customer Understanding: Gain insights into customer pain points within the marine industry and proficiently address these concerns by presenting the organization's solutions. Drive growth in targeted regions.
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans for assigned regions, actively monitor progress, and implement initiatives to boost sales, increase market share, and enhance profitability within budget constraints.
- Reporting and Budget Management: Provide regular and accurate updates on developments, ensuring effective budget management and adherence to growth initiatives.
- Business Development: Proactively seek new accounts in the region to promote the organization's solutions.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent the region as an ambassador, highlighting the technological differentiators of the organization and supporting regional sales efforts. Contribute to and execute regional sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaboration with Product Team: Serve as the primary point of contact with the Product team for critical issues or commercial and product development requirements.
- Agent Network Management: Manage and enhance the agent network, fostering effective communication and collaboration with various internal and external functions.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in sales to the marine industry, preferably Marine propulsion/engine
- Strong critical thinking skills with ability to hunt and strategize for route to market
