Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Network Service Engineer fluent in both English and Japanese to join our team. As a Network Service Engineer / Consultant, you will play a key role in defining, implementing, and optimizing network solutions while collaborating with teams in Japan HQ and across the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with Japan HQ and customers to define project scope, provide estimates, and promote our network solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to propose and promote network services in English and Japanese.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and optimize costs.
- Manage service delivery from order receipt to handover, ensuring seamless implementation.
- Provide second-tier support to resolve network issues and optimize performance.
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Business level proficiency in English and Japanese (written and spoken).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a network engineer (CCNA and above).
- Technical proficiency in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and network infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in network service providers or telecom service providers.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Windows servers.
- Familiarity with data center networks and layer-1 infrastructure.
- Vendor management skills and business development experience.
Education:
- Diploma/Degree in relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
