Job Purpose:
Develop, review and analyse the tactical aspect of the business application system.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the group’s enterprise applications and its platform.
Develop and maintain strong working relationship with end user/process owners to understand requirements and deliver/promote technical solutions as appropriate.
The individual must be able to provide technical expertise and have system administration experience. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of enterprise IT system investments.
Essential Function:
· Day to day operational user support and improvement of existing systems and processes to support the business
· Oversee development of business process requirements, includes working with application vendors and partners to define project scope and deliverables that support business objectives
· Improve design, configure and implement data integration between multiple enterprise systems along with future strategy towards enterprise integration platform.
· Investigate, recommend and implement new technology to enhance capability and financial reporting
· SQL Database Administrator, Designs/Maintain BI Reports (Tableau/Power BI)
· Develop and manage the Microsoft 365 SharePoint Site, Applications and Website.
· Undertake any other IT activities as required
Skills Requirements / Qualification:
· Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in the application development environment.
· Comprehensive knowledge of object-oriented development environments
General knowledge of development languages/platforms including C++/C#, VB.Net, ASP, ASP.Net, COM/COM+, XML, IIS, HTML, DHTML, ODBC, SOAP, ADO, ADO.NET, Java Script, Crystal Reports, & SQL Server
· Strong relational database knowledge (SQL Server preferred including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and IBM DB2.
· Familiarity with visualization and reporting tools (examples include Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview)
· Proficient in use of Microsoft Development Tools and Methods
· Strong team player with effective communication skills and working relationships with peers, co-workers, and senior management
· Ability to lead, coach and work in a fast paced, time-sensitive and complex environment
· Ability to think strategically and tactically to reach sound decisions
· Process-oriented; Attentive to details and anticipating project management challenges.
