Job Description
- Develop and execute strategies to grow and retain assets under management from wholesale clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at private banks, retail banks, insurance companies, financial advisers, digital platforms, wealth managers and family offices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale clients, addressing their needs and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, investment management, and client services, to ensure alignment and coordination in servicing wholesale clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments impacting wholesale distribution channels.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, investment updates, and other materials to wholesale clients as needed.
- Monitor and analyse sales data, performance metrics, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and other events to enhance visibility and networking opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in wholesale distribution within the asset management industry.
- Proven track record of success in building and managing relationships with wholesale clients, driving sales growth, and exceeding targets.
- Deep understanding of investment products, markets, and distribution channels, with a focus on global equities, global fixed income, private markets and multi asset.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
