Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute yearly production plan to achieve business objectives, including production volume, manufacturing cost, quality, and safety.
- Establish and maintain performance standards for operations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and efficiency metrics.
- Align the manufacturing organization with the company's vision, purpose, and priorities.
- Ensure timely production of high-quality products, monitoring production quality, cost, and shipment schedules to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Review workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, such as increasing efficiency, reducing costs, or improving safety. Coordinate material and equipment usage for production stages.
- Maintain production schedules by monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and taking corrective action as needed.
- Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports and monitor employee performance to ensure adherence to company standards for quality and productivity.
- Develop training programs for employees to enhance their skills in recent technologies or processes, reducing errors and mistakes.
- Fulfill other responsibilities assigned by management.
Skills and Competencies Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience exceeding 5 years in a production management capacity, ideally within the semiconductor industry.
- A comprehensive understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and safety standards is crucial.
- Exceptional leadership and communication proficiencies are necessary, coupled with the ability to inspire and oversee a diverse workforce.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making, demonstrating a strategic approach to challenges.
- Track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement strategies and fostering operational excellence.
- Familiarity with the latest technologies and systems utilized in manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities and comfortable thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Perform any other ad-hoc job duties as and when assigned by superior.
