A summary of the responsibilities of this position in relation to the construction industry are, (and not limited to), as follows:
- Analyse and understand tender and construction drawings
- Review and fabricate models and drawings
- Produce constructible 3D drawings and be able to translate them into 2D shop drawings
- Update site progress information and ensure the accuracy of shop drawings
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices in the work place
- To assist the Project Managers and project team with other tasks
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Project Engineer and/or BIM Modeller/Coordinator
- Experience on producing M&E shop drawings
- Experience in adoption of BIM processes in construction projects
- Well-versed / Certified in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks and BIM360
- Good understanding of M&E works and able to associate BIM with construction needs
- Willingness to learn and use new software/technology
- Self-driven and good time management
- Educational background : BIM related certification
