Job Description:
As a General Insurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in advising our clients on a wide range of General insurance products, including but not limited to home, auto, and liability insurance. You will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, providing expert advice, handling policy modifications, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients' needs and recommend suitable insurance policies.
- Provide detailed information about insurance products and coverages to clients.
- Process applications, endorsements, and cancellations of insurance policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and regulatory changes.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to meet company objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on client accounts and policy changes.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 year+ experience as an insurance specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of general insurance products and the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret insurance policies and regulations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance-related software.
- Preferably BCP/CGI/PGI qualifications or relevant insurance equivalent
