Our prestige client is looking for a professional and detail-oriented System and Network Engineer to join their team of IT professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of both hardware and software systems, as well as our network infrastructure. You will also provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Descriptions:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Monitor system performance and optimize systems as necessary.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware systems.
- Configure and maintain storage systems, networks, and firewalls.
- Create and administer user accounts and permissions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
- Provide training and technical guidance to internal staff.
- Implement security measures and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system engineering and/or network engineering
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware
- Experience with storage systems, networks, and firewalls
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
