Key Responsibilities:
- Communication and Collaboration:Facilitate communication between UMT and various divisions within the company, coordinating equipment meetings and material preparation.
Manage communication with Japanese vendors for equipment/parts purchasing, negotiations, and auditing.
- Design Review and Project Management:Organize design review meetings, chair discussions, and document outcomes.
Engage in project management activities, including budget control, quality assurance, safety, and schedule management.
- Vendor and Engineering Standard Management:Qualify new vendors and conduct audits for existing vendors.
Translate and create Company Engineering Standards, ensuring compliance with Singapore Authority requirements, and company practices.
- Modification and Maintenance Support:Propose equipment modifications, coordinate with vendors, and assess the results.
Support spare parts management, coordinate equipment troubleshooting, and conduct training for skill improvement.
Entry Requirements:
- Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Japanese for effective communication with vendors.
- Technical Skills: Digital control systems, PLC-related troubleshooting, and basic IoT skills.
