Job Opportunity: Production Department Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Are you an experienced Production Department Manager with a background in chemical manufacturing, skilled in optimizing resource allocation, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement? Join the innovative team and lead the way in ensuring efficient production operations, driving excellence, and building a high-performing team.

Job Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Industry: Chemical Manufacturing
  • Work Schedule: 5 Days (Monday to Friday), Standard Office Hours
  • Monthly Base Salary Range: $6,000 to $6,500
  • Work Location: Jurong Island, Singapore
  • Company Transportation: Provided within the West area in Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Efficiency:Optimize resource allocation and monitor production metrics.
    Implement process improvements to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
  2. Safety and Compliance:Ensure workplace safety and health compliance.
    Oversee ECR reduction and closure processes.
    Enforce compliance with MS Control systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Production Planning and Coordination:Plan and monitor production material requirements.
    Implement SOPs for production processes.
    Coordinate with external vendors, HQ staff, and other departments.
    Lead new product transplants and manage process changes.
  4. Staff Development and Training:Conduct coaching and feedback sessions with employees.
    Monitor employee performance.
    Facilitate staff development and training programs.

Entry Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in chemical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a similar capacity.
  • Certification: Experience in ISO certification processes.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of chemical plant management, familiarity with ESH regulations, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
