About Our Client

Job Description
Accounts Payable:
- Review payment vouchers, vendor invoices, and staff claims to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and necessary approvals.
- Ensure timely closure and balance of monthly and year-end accounts.
- Review vendor aging reports and statements to ensure accuracy for payment preparation.
- Monitor AP bank transactions to verify all payments are accurately accounted for and posted.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding orders or payments.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable.
- Support audit processes related to accounts payable and general ledger.
- Process timely payments to suppliers.
General Ledger:
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and the general ledger.
- Assist in managing petty cash.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection and analysis as required by the Finance Manager
- Maintain organized records, correspondence, etc., ensuring accessibility.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma in accounting/Professional qualification in accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, accounting experience
- Knowledge in using SAP S4/Hana or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system will be beneficial
- Proficient in MS office and Google suite
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive work attitude and proactive
- A team player, hands-on with good thought processes and strong analytical skills
