About Our Client
Our client is one of the largest leading global leader in the aviation sector. As part of their global expansion efforts, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic individual to lead their Singapore finance operations as their Finance Manager.
Job Description
You will report and work closely with the Finance Director on the following:
- Financial reporting and management of Singapore entity as assigned
- Prepare and manage consolidated financial reporting of Group companies with affiliates in Germany, France and Australia.
- Prepare and manage balance sheets, income statements, cashflow projections and other financial reports.
- Manage budgeting process, budget templates, forecasts and actual v budget reports.
- Manage payments to suppliers and billing of clients in different currencies and jurisdictions around the world.
- Manage VAT payment and refunds.
- Manage currency hedging activities.
- Coordinate management of transfer pricing aspects in transactions between affiliated entities.
- Work with counterparts and relevant regional/global stakeholders on completeness and acccuracy of accounts as accordance to IFRS
The Successful Applicant
- Degree/ACCA/CA/CPA Qualified accountant in Singapore.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Accounting, Consolidation and financial reporting topics
- Experience managing billing of clients located in several jurisdictions and under multiple currencies.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP system will be beneficial but not essential.
- Takes initiative and self-motivated, works cohesively in a team
- Handles uncertainty effectively
- Highly organised and able to effectively run in parallel multiple topics.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- High level of proficiency in English is essential.
