- Position Title: Procurement Assistant/ Purchasing Assistant
- Working Location: Tanjong Penjuru (Transport provided from JE MRT)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
- Salary Package: Up to $3,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities by issuing and tracking purchase orders (POs) and ensuring POs are sent via email.
- Coordinate with the store to monitor stock levels to prevent material shortages for the Operations Unit.
- Communicate with the plant to understand their requirements and maintain an updated inventory list.
- Engage with suppliers to arrange delivery schedules, address shortages, or resolve issues with missed deliveries.
- Actively source parts/materials as needed and handle the receipt of goods and system updates.
- Maintain purchase records, including pricing and other essential data, and negotiate with suppliers for the best prices.
- Perform monthly stock checks and manage any ad hoc tasks as assigned.
