The role & responsibility of a Business Development Manager is to lead, manage, identify and develop all aspects of the business development process, from lead identification, scanning and qualification through to campaign launch and partner relationship management.
Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in:
- Responsible for executing the business development plan and process, including coordination of all necessary parties to best position the firm to secure the business.
- Analyzing opportunities from a business perspective, reaching out to potential brand partners, and managing campaign execution and impact measurement.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
- Track and communicate campaign progress to the management.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Create action plans based on areas of potential success and maintain an overview of clients and their contacts.
- Oversees, evaluates, and manages new business processes/opportunities.
- Capability to acquire the Research & Strategy skill.
