Major Job Requirments in following Discipline
(Civil & Structural)
a) Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent or accreditation recognized by PEB Singapore;
b) Registered as Resident Technical Officer (C&S) with BCA/IES/ACES; and
c) Possess at least 4 years of relevant site supervision experience as a resident Technical officer in Concrete technology, inspection, quality control and quality assurance procedures related to high quality precast concrete products in Singapore.
d) Experience in Precaust structrural elements (Excluding Tunnel precast elements)
Additional Requirements
i) For C&S discipline - STSS (Structural Steel Society) certificate or
equivalent; and IES RE/RTO registration; and
iii) All disciplines - WSQ-Supervise Construction Work certificate or
equivalent.
In addition to the qualifications, site supervision and practical experience as
specified, all Site Supervisors shall also possess the following competencies and
personal attributes:
a) technically strong, able to review design details, method statements, and use
sound judgment to resolve site issues during the course of construction works;
b) conversant with local building codes and regulations, authority requirements
and practices;
c) attended minimally 1 safety course & demonstrate safety acumen to highlight
potential safety infringements/unsafe practices on site;
d) demonstrate maturity and ability to manage a team of Site Supervisors (for
SRE, RE, and RA);
e) possible good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as a
team player;
f) diligent, methodical, meticulous, and willing to work overtime; and
g) keen learner and supportive of digitalization efforts in projects.
