Job Summary

Seeking a IT DevOps engineer who will be part of the Murex Squad, that works on development projects for Front Office in a reputed bank.


Mandatory Skill-set

  • Has at least 4 years of Murex Experience on development and configuration;
  • Should have good understanding of Murex architecture and its core services;
  • Experience of working on major project implementations, BAU and production support with good troubleshooting skills;
  • Knowledge and exposure in of Murex Datamart , Linux scripting skills;
  • Familiar with coding in Python and Hands-on knowledge of SQL along with experience in performance tuning;
  • Experienced in Agile Scrum project execution process;
  • Must be able to work in a global team and maintain a pleasant attitude while in a high pressure /fast paced environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desired Skill-set

  • Good knowledge of financial market products and their lifecycle;
  • Work experience in Banking industry.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Murex development and configuration projects for Front Office;
  • Involved in the translation of user requirements into Murex application and demo to users.
  • Support Murex Project implementations, change requests and support for the Bank's Treasury;
  • Work with traders and other stakeholders to gather and document requirements;
  • Conduct impact analysis, understand trader's pain points and propose solutions;
  • Liaise with vendors and IT teams on the design, development and ensure delivery of requirements;
  • Collaborate with internal technical team/users in the resolution of critical production incidents;
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
