Job Summary
Seeking a IT DevOps engineer who will be part of the Murex Squad, that works on development projects for Front Office in a reputed bank.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Has at least 4 years of Murex Experience on development and configuration;
- Should have good understanding of Murex architecture and its core services;
- Experience of working on major project implementations, BAU and production support with good troubleshooting skills;
- Knowledge and exposure in of Murex Datamart , Linux scripting skills;
- Familiar with coding in Python and Hands-on knowledge of SQL along with experience in performance tuning;
- Experienced in Agile Scrum project execution process;
- Must be able to work in a global team and maintain a pleasant attitude while in a high pressure /fast paced environment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Good knowledge of financial market products and their lifecycle;
- Work experience in Banking industry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Murex development and configuration projects for Front Office;
- Involved in the translation of user requirements into Murex application and demo to users.
- Support Murex Project implementations, change requests and support for the Bank's Treasury;
- Work with traders and other stakeholders to gather and document requirements;
- Conduct impact analysis, understand trader's pain points and propose solutions;
- Liaise with vendors and IT teams on the design, development and ensure delivery of requirements;
- Collaborate with internal technical team/users in the resolution of critical production incidents;
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
