The Finance Executive is responsible for performing non-trade AP function, partial GL and Treasury function. This role also works closely with Accountant to support month-end/year-end closing accounting duties.
Job Scope
1. Perform financial accounting
- Perform month-end closing duties
2. Process business transactions and reports
- Record and process business transactions in accordance with the company’s procedures and policies
3. Perform Statutory Reporting
- Assist in audit & tax requirements
- Quarterly GST reporting
4. Back up for Trade AP
- Assisting with Trade AP & Inventories/COGS
5. Treasury function
- Cashflow monitoring, cashbook updates
- Issuance of replacement cheques for outlets
6. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Pre-Requisites
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in basic accounting work, AP with Treasury function and GST Reporting experience preferred
- Competent in MS Office (Excel, etc.)
- Ideally familiar with Netsuite
- Well-organized and meticulous
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
