Packaging Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:


Project Management:


Lead and manage projects related to packaging technology from initiation to completion.

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management.


Packaging Assessment:


Conduct thorough assessments of packaging requirements for various products.

Evaluate packaging materials, technology, and equipment to determine the most suitable solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to source and procure packaging materials and equipment.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to packaging.


Industry Knowledge:


Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in packaging technology.

Identify and assess emerging technologies and advancements in the packaging industry.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry experts to stay informed about market developments.

Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding potential opportunities and threats in the packaging technology business.


Vendor Management:


Evaluate and select vendors and suppliers for packaging materials and equipment.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.

Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

Collaborate with vendors to drive innovation and continuous improvement in packaging solutions.


Quality Assurance:


Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of packaging materials and equipment.

Conduct inspections and audits of packaging processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Work closely with quality control teams to address any quality-related issues or deviations.


Qualifications:


5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on packaging technology and materials.

Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technology, and equipment, particularly in Pharma or Food industries.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for packaging.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines and budget constraints.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.
