NIE invites applications for the Executive position in the Physical Education & Sports Science Academic Group (PESS AG). This is a 2-year contract post.
Responsibilities
- Administration of the Sport Science & Management undergraduate programme, including examinations, coordinating programme logistics, and course scheduling.
- Supporting the Programme Leader in implementing, delivering, and evaluating programme activities, ensuring compliance with university policies.
- Administration of examination matters relating to the PESS Initial Teacher Preparation programmes.
- Administration of part-time lecturers including checking of time entries, and onboarding procedures.
- Administration of Student Feedback on Teaching (SFT).
- Administration of Physical Proficiency Test (PPT).
- Administration of alumni matters.
- Administration of school attachment matters.
- Other duties may include but are not limited to events management, dispatch duty, sports facilities office duty, attending to enquiries at the General Office counter, putting up maintenance requests, etc.
- Perform other duties assigned by PESS management.
Requirements
- A Polytechnic Diploma, preferably in Business Administration.
- Relevant work experience in programme administration and student support, preferably in an institute of higher learning, will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently and as a team player under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in web design and content marketing in social media will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with design software like Adobe Photoshop and Canva will be an advantage.
- Meticulous with information and numbers.
