About Us
Focus Movement is an integrated functional movement and rehab studio located in Raffles Place. We work with our clients to help ensure their bodies support their lifestyle no matter their life stage or ability by providing pilates, functional movement and physiotherapy. Our team consists of about 25 Pilates and movement professionals, physiotherapists and administration and management and our studio will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in Singapore this year. We are the exclusive Singapore host site for Polestar Pilates instructor training.
Our purpose is to empower people to live better everyday through smarter movement. We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager who is motivated by this purpose to join our team.
About the role
This role will be responsible managing our Singapore studio operations for Pilates and Physiotherapy, and supporting our Niseko Japan studio in operations as well during the winter season.
Other key responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Ensure a high degree of customer service maintained by all staff
- Class schedule planning and covers
- Course enquiries and management including another sub-host studio
- Managing all aspects of front desk, schedule, standards, training, email and phone enquiries
- Staff leave management
- Manage FD interactions with staff
- Front desk staff orientation
- All repairs, maintenance and studio cleanliness
- Replenishment of studio supplies and inventory
- Payroll, accounts, monthly claims and supplier payments
- Handle customer comments and complaints in line with our values
- Managing manpower and leave applications
- Monitor attendance, retention and referrals and put in place tactics to ensure we continue to hit our targets.

To ensure success as our Operations Manager, you will have a dynamic and confident personality, which is complemented with your natural passion in communication with team members and clients alike. You will bring your uniquely positive and energetic communication style, and a passion and interest in movement. Other skills and attributes we value include:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar operations role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, highly organised and strong time management skills
- Driven, with the ability to work under own initiative and make decisions
