CORPORATE SECRETARIAL OFFICER

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:


2 years experience (minimum) in a Corporate Secretarial services position. Professional qualifications are also preferred.


As a Corporate Secretarial Administrator, you would be part of a specialist Corporate Secretarial team that provides Corporate Secretarial services to external clients and internal clients (i.e. other departments within the Singapore business).


The responsibilities will include:


Client Service:

Taking ownership of a portfolio of Singapore and ‘offshore’ companies as assigned by your Line Manager and attending to the ongoing administration of existing client companies while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Acting as a point of contact for international clients to assist in the establishment of new corporate structures and ongoing administration.

Assisting in the AGM process of companies, monitoring closely the statutory timelines for client companies and ensuring timely reminders are sent to clients.

Attending to new corporate bank account applications. Attending to termination, liquidation and striking off of companies.

Acting as a primary point of contact for liaising with the Accounting Department to ensure that financial statements are completed on a timely basis for companies under the candidate's portfolio. Attending to the ongoing maintenance of corporate records for client companies.

Attending to the redirection of emails to clients and any other ad-hoc administrative tasks that may be assigned by your Line Manager from time to time.

Attending to the preparation and coordination of the corporate documents, including completion of filing with the relevant governmental authorities within the stipulated deadline.


Regulatory & Compliance

Understanding and complying with the Group's internal policy and procedures and ensuring that the updated internal policy and procedure are strictly adhered to and complied with.


Attending to the annual compliance reviews for existing clients and ensuring any deficiencies that are raised during the reviews are attended in a timely manner.

Keeping up to date with ACRA and other relevant industry and jurisdiction developments from a legal, tax and regulatory perspective, with guidance from the Line Manager.


PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:


Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience.


The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of Singapore corporate law and good practice.


Applicants should also possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a prompt and efficient manner.


Attention to detail is essential. An understanding and appreciation for client sensitivity regarding confidentiality is also required.
