Our Client:
Our client is involved in the extensive production of a diverse range of products. They are actively looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements and other documents related to operation and development of our business and collaboration with and acquisition of other companies
- Handle disputes and conflicts in an appropriate manner. This includes litigation and arbitration management and settlement negotiation
- Provide legal advice and training to our group personnels to help them resolve and prevent various legal issues
- Develop and maintain contract templates and formats required by business
- Monitor laws and regulations relevant to our business and provide updates to relevant personnels in a timely manner
- Coordinate with outside legal counsel in various subject matters and ensure the cost-effective engagement of them
- Coordinate with our group personnels, especially business development team members and legal and compliance team members
- Ensure our group personnels are aware of and comply with applicable laws and regulations and internal policies
- Draft, review, and maintain internal policies
- Provide support to our group companies for the implementation of compliance activities
The Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in M&A, investment, and/or EPC contracts
- Strong communication and coordination skill
- Post-qualified experience in a law firm will be an added advantage
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
