Job Description
Robotic process automation (RPA) is a technology that enables users to configure software robots to emulate and integrate human interaction with digital systems to execute business processes. Software robots utilize the user interface to capture data and navigate applications just like humans do. They interpret data, trigger responses and communicate with other systems to perform a variety of repetitive, rule-based tasks.
The RPA lead will be responsible for leading a team of RPA developer for end-to-end RPA project delivery and building the RPA capability in the organisation. The project delivery would include requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, robot development and post-production support to the business users. Candidates are expected to have strong project management skill and RPA technical competency in the programming and deployment of the suit of RPA mechanism, e.g. the robots, using UiPath.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical training and guidance to the RPA team
- Lead and assign projects to the RPA members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality
- End to end coordination with process owners, developers and IT teams to implement projects
- Work closely with Business Units and departments to ensure conformance to governance and processes
- Track and monitor RPA automation performance, KPIs etc
- Review process documentation i.e. scorecard, process definition, solution design and user document
- Identify best practices and continuous improvement in RPA solutions
- Manage licenses and administer the UiPath Orchestrator and robots across different global business units
- Organise and conduct RPA-related training for local and overseas business units
- Organise events such as webinar and publish articles to promote and increase adoption of RPA
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar areas is an advantage
- Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 3-year hands on working experience in RPA project development and programming training using UiPath, preferably leading a team of RPA developers
- Knowledgeable in business process analysis, RPA process design and automation best practice
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with people from different background, technical and non-technical
