Assistant (Project Management, Planning, Data Analytics)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects. The individual should use, analyse, and interpret data to help projects/businesses make informed decision. The role may work with large, complex data to identify trends, and insights that can be used to improve project/business performance and planning.
Collaborating with other teams to complete projects using data-driven strategies. Using operational data to get valuable insights to aid project & decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and resiliency.
Job Responsibilities
- Focus on projects related to operational data (i.e., Capacity Management)
- Projects that collect, analyse data from multiple sources, develop data models and algorithms to extract insights.
- Update project status, communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Staying up-to-update with the latest tools and data analysis techniques
- Provide guidance and support to team members when facing more challenging projects, untypical or complex issues or difficult situations
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and perspectives to deliver desired outcomes
- Working on projects that help the team to optimize the supply and demand forecast
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure that the demand needs are addressed by supply options in a timely manner
- Help the team to model different demand scenarios, recommendations to plan and address forecasting challenges with alternatives
- Work with internal and external teams to ensure data accuracy, usability, and integrity
- Maintaining data integrity of tools used
- Communicating and reporting on overall projects to provide stakeholders with metrices needed to make informed decisions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Project Management, Planning and Data Analytics. Less experienced candidates may be considered for appointment as Manager.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills as you will be working closely with stakeholders from different backgrounds and with different roles and levels of seniority.
- Exceptional customer service skills, focus and commitment.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely and in a right-first time manner.
- Hands-on experience in data modelling and problem solving.
- Proficiency in data analysis, visualization and reporting tools, such as Excel, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Elasticsearch
- Create dashboards, storytelling, and analytics with tools
