Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder and Communications Management
- Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
- Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes.
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
- Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverable, dependencies, communicating across team and business leadership and stakeholders.
2. Process and Delivery Execution
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business.
- Own the full project life cycle end to end (Hybrid between Waterfall and Agile).
- Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives.
- Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities, including project management working and steering committees.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
Key Requirements
- Banking experience in Retail products, Operations, Process and operating models.
- Experience in leading and executing large Credit Cards project covering acquiring and issuing. Experience on loyalty and rewards is a plus (over 10 years is preferred).
- Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- A confident and self-aware leader with a high degree of independence.
- Demonstrated 5-10 years of experience in project management.
- Full end to end project management in a lead role.
- Direct responsibility of project budgets of $5 - $15 million dollars.
- Executive level communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
