Assist in managing and expediting overall customer requests and booking space with feeders/vessel operators.
· Assisting in all order processing and documentation, and ensure smooth running of delivery/ shipping arrangement
· Monitor and ensure prompt and accurate submission of permits and prompt delivery and clearance of shipments
· Investigate and action on all non-conformance and recommend corrective actions
· Oversee the complete shipments process to final destinations
· Tracking of containers with depots etc
· Handle customers queries promptly
· Prepare shipping documents and export/import trade declarations eg. B/L, Arrival notice etc
· Any other duties may be assigned by the trade manager and management from time to time
Job Description & Requirements:
· Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Taiwanese/Chinese clients on mandarin requests).
· Prior experience in doing freight operations will be preferred.
· Knowledge DG, Portnet etc preferred.
· Applicants must be able/competent to handle DG cargo clearance with Port Authorities/customers accordingly.
· Organized, meticulous, and resourceful with a mature personality
· Able to work independently, with multitasking abilities, and able to take work pressure
· Good team player
· Microsoft Office Skills
· Positive work attitude and good communication skills
