Requirements:

  • Possess Diploma or equivalent level of certification
  • Min 3 years of purchasing or supply chain management experience
  • Experience in negotiation with suppliers, sourcing new suppliers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently towards achieving company objectives
  • An understanding of purchase order software platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide purchasing support activities, which include services, materials, and equipment sourcing during project proposals as well as project execution stage, to achieve competitive pricing and improving profitability.
  • Ensure timely delivery of purchases and services
  • Formulate and drive commodities sourcing strategies to meet manufacturing needs and business objectives.
  • Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/contractors on the commodity contractual agreements and the terms and conditions.
  • Sourcing and identify new suppliers and continuous suppliers-base rationalizations and maintain an Approved Vendor Listing.
  • Payment terms management and review.
