Interested applicant shall required to have at least 2 years of electrical works and possess certificates in the following:
1. Attained with BCSS/ Level A or Level B
2. WAH for supervisor; or WAH Assessor; or Managing WAH
3. Occupational First Aid (Optional and advantage will be added)
4. BizSafe Lv2 (advantage will be added)
5. Confined space supervisor/ assessor (advantage will be added)
6. Scaffold supervisor (Optional and advantage will be added)
7. SMO course
Roles & Responsibilities of WSHC:
•Assist WSHO to maintain WSH Management System.
•Execute WSH-related instructions from the WSHO or project team.
•Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work process.
•Take reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person at work.
•Assist to ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk and being practiced on site.
•Recommend reasonably practicable measures to eliminate, or to mitigate risk to the lowest.
•Inspect and examine the workplace and any machinery, equipment, installation, or article in the workplace at any reasonable time.
•Assist WSHO in organizing WSH promotional program.
•Assist WSHO in obtaining, compiling, and keeping WSH records from all Subcontractors which required by WSH legislation and company requirements.
•Assist WSHO in carrying out meetings and in-house trainings for all subcontractors.
•Ensuring the safety and health of the members of the public and stakeholders who are affected by the work process.
•Communicate and enforce WSH requirements, legislated and in-house rules and regulations.
•Conduct safety meetings, inspections, mass toolbox meetings, safety training & audits.
•Conduct safe work procedure, safety in-house trainings for workers, risk
assessment briefings and non-compliance recordings.
•Assist WSHO in investigating incidents/accidents & recommend corrective action to prevent recurrence.
•Assess and advise on permit-to-work (when required) system with the project team and subcontractors.
•Update project team and subcontractors on the latest MOM safety news/ alert/ bulletin.
•Assist in compilation of WSH documentations such as risk assessment, permit-to-work system, safe work procedure.
•Generate safety documentations, checklists & safety records/ procedure.
•Assist WSHO to conduct site accident/incident investigations.
•Conduct safety inspections and ensure that any unsafe act or condition is rectified.
•Assist WSHO to conduct emergency drill in the workplace.
•Assist occupier and obliged their in-house rules & regulations as well as
legal requirements.
•Maintain cleanliness on site and practice daily housekeeping.
