POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Sales Account Manager are in-charge of processing customer’s sales queries, orders and special requirements.
SPECIFIC MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish & retain good relationship with existing and new Clients through frequent phone calls/contact
- Prioritize (Segmentation and priority of Clients), estimating and quoting of customers’ Request for Quotation – in a timely manner·Follow-up on quotes & deal with the Clients thru phone calls
- Ensure Clients Order corresponds 100% to our eventual Sales Orders, e.g. ensure amendment made (if any) and put Orders into action / alert Purchasers
- Prior to invoicing the Await-OK screen must be checked for any deferring quantities or missing prices
- Inform and Clarify with Owners/Vessels of any “offer” and / or special items or items which may:
- Be out of stock
- Being substitute offered (Orders)
- Non-returnable
- Update confirm quotation, release Sales Order for order preparation
- Undertaking ad-hoc management projects
- Customer Visits when required Handling of Customers Complaints (commercially)
- Make sure the invoicing details are correct
- Share knowledge with team on customers and best practices to ensure alignment
