Job Description & Requirements
  • Plan, design and implement consumer, product and market research studies to provide creative flavour direction and support strategic and client based consumer insights projects for the Southeast and South Asia region. (e.g., concept tests, consumer language probes, benchmarking studies, awareness and usage, product tests, etc)
  • Leverage on cutting edge qualitative, quantitative consumer and analytical research tools to provide new insights and generate new product and market ideas
  • Key contact for CIMR projects for Southeast Asia and South Asia countries.
  • Assist and support CIMR Asia Leader on regional strategic research and setting direction for actionable learning plans for Southeast Asia and South Asia
  • Incorporate new market and consumer trends in new insights development and category landscape and future trend analysis
  • Support development of new methods and global best practices guidelines
  • Develop insightful and strategic client proposals for key clients
  • Supervise virtual staff/ strategic research partners on data collection and analytics throughout the course of the study
  • Interpret results, provide high quality research output/ communication materials and appropriate recommendations to client groups
  • Manage research projects with external research partners
  • Provide technical mentorship as needed to junior staff from regional affiliates
  • To carry out any additional job related duties that may be assigned from time to time
  • Implement and conform to all established quality, safety and environmental management system
  • Support the implemented quality, safety and environmental management system

Required skillsets:

  • Degree in Statistics, Consumer/Market Research, Experimental / Behavioral Psychology, Neurosciences, Food Science, Sensory Sciences or related area
  • Ability to design and execute qualitative and quantitative consumer and product research studies
  • Statistical skills with high degree of familiarity with statistical packages (e.g., XLSTAT, SPSS) and the ability to interpret data
  • Experience handling FMCG portfolio with agency background
  • Decision Science or Social Media Listening knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Some food sensory evaluation experience will be an added advantage
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
