- Report to QPS and QP (Geo) on all design matters
- Ensure that the contractor's design are in compliance with LTA's specifications and requirements
- Assist to check on the design calculations
- To liaise with AC and QP(D) to ensure that all permits and applications as required by BCA are endorsed in tandem with the progress of the Works
- Lead in the review of Contractor’s submissions required of the Consultant and coordinate with his respective QP(S) and the Contractor’s design teams to ensure prompt resolution of all design-related issues arising from the reviews of the Temporary and Permanent Works.
Responsibilities:
- The Senior Design Engineer (SDE) shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with at least a degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- At least ten (10) years of relevant experience on projects similar in nature to vehicular tunnel, including at least five (5)years in the design of geotechnical works for deep excavation
