As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for system engineering design activities required to develop and deliver a solution or product.
Responsibilities:
· Support in leading collaborative discussion to clarify and define system requirements and interface requirements.
· Support to ensure that the proposed architecture and design will meet the requirements.
· Support in producing documentation in support of the project
· Assist in consulting with stakeholders on technical, architectural and procedural issues as required.
· Supports in providing the required technical documentation:
v Design Documents (Preliminary, Final)
v Statement of Works for suppliers and external contractors
v Input/output requirement for Interfaces Management
v Input for specialty engineering: RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security.
v Input for Installation Management
v Operation and Maintenance documentation
v Training material
· Participate to progress meetings
· Support in analysis and rectifies the Problem Changes Requests
· Participate in site activities if a need for experts arises
Requirements:
· Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Computer, System Design Engineering or Equivalent
· Systems engineering basics knowledge
· Demonstrated engineering competencies required for qualification to INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Engineering role
· Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
· Experience with Requirements management tools such as DOORS, and modeling tools is desirable.
· Experience with issue tracking tools such as JIRA
· Experience working on Transportation projects
· Membership of relevant professional organisation, e.g. INCOSE, Institution of Engineers Singapore, etc.
