Job Description:
As a Coffee Shop Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee shop. You will lead by example, motivating and coaching a team of baristas to provide outstanding customer service and consistently deliver high-quality coffee and food products.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise, train, and mentor barista and support staff.
· Ensure exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
· Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
· Monitor and maintain product quality and freshness.
· Manage inventory, place orders, and track supplies.
· Implement and enforce health and safety guidelines.
· Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
· Collaborate with management to develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the coffee shop.
· Assist in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs.
· Perform additional duties as required to support the overall success of the coffee shop.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a supervisory role within a coffee shop or similar hospitality environment.
· Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
· Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
· A passion for coffee and a commitment to quality.
· Able to work on public holiday and weekends.
