Job Description

  • Support development of new methods, capabilities and technology to improve engine overhaul processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through new methods, capability development or acquisition.
  • Capture operations needs and match capabilities and technology acquisition or development.
  • Conduct feasibility and initial savings study to justify development/acquisition
  • Validate developed or acquired methods, capabilities and technologies to ensure initial requirements are met and savings expectations are achieved
  • Manage vendors or research groups to ensure capability/technology developments meet current or future requirements
  • Plan and manage activities, communicate status to relevant internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechatronics/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering (Candidates possessing both Diploma certification and relevant experience will be considered)
  • Ideally 5 years’ experience in similar job role. Applicants with less experience (including fresh graduates) but have relevant skills and experience may be considered
  • Experience with industry 4.0 technology integration is an advantage
  • Good communication, analytical, engineering and project management skills
  • Good technical problem-solving skills
