Job Responsibilities
- Establish, implement and maintain the Safety & Health Management System (SHMS).
- Support departments to review their risk assessments to identify foreseeable hazards and risks as well as propose reasonably practicable measures to eliminate/reduce the risks to as low as reasonably practicable.
- Conduct and manage the WSH Committee Inspections & Meetings as well as other safety & health site inspections, to create a safe working environment and follow up to close findings raised.
- Develop and conduct safety & health-related Training to relevant personnel (employees/contractors) to enhance their safety knowledge & awareness to carry out the work safely.
- Conduct incident investigations and ensure proper closure of the corrective actions.
- Assume the role of Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to manage Emergency Response & Fire Safety related matters.
- Support the Safety Case Lead and relevant departments in the preparation of safety case.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering
- Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO)
- Candidate who possesses Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certificate and Safety & Health related trainings will have added advantage
- Preferably 2-3 years working experience in a chemical process/manufacturing industry
