Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Management Consulting Manager with a proven track record in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in anti-financial crime (AFC) compliance, project management, and stakeholder engagement. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading and executing consulting projects, driving business development initiatives, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Excellence:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of consulting projects across multiple regions and financial institutions.
Coordinate governance meetings, provide updates to senior stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project deliverables and timelines.
Drive project progress tracking and facilitate effective communication channels within project teams.
- Subject Matter Expertise:Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on AFC policies and procedures, overseeing the development of work instructions, quality assurance measures, and staff training initiatives.
Conduct policy gap analyses against local regulations and industry best practices, focusing on KYC requirements, records management standards, and outsourcing guidelines.
- Business Development and Thought Leadership:Develop and implement strategies to expand consulting service offerings, including market/competitor analysis, proposition definition, and client engagement.
Lead business development activities, including proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, and thought leadership initiatives in the financial crime compliance space.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:Advise business lines within institutional and private banking on AML risks associated with clients and third parties, contributing to the end-to-end KYC process.
Conduct country assessments on jurisdictions with heightened financial crime risks and provide recommendations to mitigate adverse developments.
- Training and Stakeholder Engagement:Deliver comprehensive training sessions on financial crime compliance and conduct matters to staff, covering money laundering, terrorism financing red flags, and individual accountability.
Represent the department in client acceptance meetings and local risk committees, providing expert insights on financial crime-related matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters in Business, Finance, Law, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in management consulting and financial services, with a focus on anti-financial crime compliance.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver complex consulting projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior executives and clients.
