Responsibilities
- Create and update Engine Overhaul and Repair technical instructions in SAP in accordance with OEM approved data.
- Liaise with various departments and customers on work documentation and records accuracy and effectiveness
- Prepare engine induction documentation and update engine records in SAP system
- Prepare engine release documentation
- Create and maintain the Generic Engine Structure and Material Master in SAP system.
- Develop, document, or maintain standards, best practices, or system usage procedures.
- Consult with end users regarding problems in accessing electronic content.
- Retrieve electronic assets from repository for distribution to users, collecting and returning to repository, if necessary.
- Prepare support documentation and training materials for end users of document management systems.
- Maintain all mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by regulatory authorities or the customers.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Knowledge/information Management System
- Highly analytical and able to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Meticulous team player with good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of component repair processes (eg. Welding, Machining, Thermal Spray, Paint, NDT, Cleaning) will be advantageous
- Basic knowledge of high bypass gas turbine engines and the engine assembly process will be advantageous
- Experience in an engine or component overhaul shop is valued.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint is an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
