Responsibilities:
- Conduct Site Inspections: Perform thorough site inspections of building façades to assess their safety and structural integrity. Identify any potential hazards or deficiencies that may compromise the safety of the building occupants or the public.
- Follow-Up with Building Owners: Collaborate with building owners to address any identified issues or concerns regarding the safety of their building façades. Provide guidance and recommendations on necessary measures to rectify any safety deficiencies.
- Develop Policies and Regulations: Work closely with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies to develop and implement new policies, regulations, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety standards of building façades.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform policy development.
- Enhance Safety Initiatives: Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety culture surrounding building façades. Provide education and training to stakeholders on safety protocols and compliance requirements.
- Research and Development: Conduct research and development activities focused on advancing façade inspection technologies. Explore innovative approaches and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of building façade safety assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in building inspection, construction management, or regulatory compliance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to building façades.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Location: Jurong
- 2 years contract
- 5 days' work week (may required to work on weekends)
