Duties and responsibilities include:


Business Development (Ecommerce)

  • Identify, develop and implement strategies to expand growth in ecommerce sales channels, including managing and optimizing existing marketplaces, to identifying new opportunities with other online partners and retailers.
  • Plan and execute sales and marketing campaigns to increase revenue, customer base, customer retention and basket size
  • Analyze ecommerce sales campaigns and identify areas for improvement to optimize sales and profitability
  • Create and maintain product listings, ensuring that they are accurate, compelling, and optimized for search and conversion.
  • Manage customer relationships, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service and admin, to ensure seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives (eg price, campaigns, inventory and fulfillment)

Business Development (Physical/In-person)

  • Identify, develop and implement strategies to expand growth in bulk and recurring sales in channels such as B2B sales and groupbuying.
  • Identify, develop and manage physical sales channels such as food pop-ups, events, and exhibitions, including planning, logistics, coordination and execution.
  • Conduct site visits, viewings and online market research to identify potential areas for expansion, collaboration and events
  • Develop relationships with event organizers, vendors, and partners to maximize opportunities for exposure and sales.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to showcase products and build brand awareness.

Sales Admin, Market Research and Reporting

  • Monthly or periodic market research to remain updated and ahead of industry trends, market activities, competitors and possible new business opportunities
  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on sales goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce marketplace management (eg Shopee Seller Centre’s Courses)
  • Generating timely and accurate quotes, proposals and price lists for customers
  • Handling sales-related administration matters (e.g. with accounts team to ensure prompt payment, with operations team to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of orders)
  • To provide timely sales support to customers, upselling and providing alternative solutions when appropriate
  • Build quality relationships with both existing and new customers/stakeholders


What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Fresh grads welcomed.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or marketing a strong bonus
  • Experience in entrepruneurship a strong bonus
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and online marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for events and meetings.
  • Willingness to work on occasional weekends when necessary (eg when joining a popup, food exhibition)


What we can offer:


Salary: $3000 - $3800/month with commissions on new revenue generated
Bonus: Guaranteed 13th month bonus (paid after CNY)

  • 5 days work week, 1000 - 1900
  • 14 days annual leave (can be carried forward and/or encashed)
  • Post CNY prolonged break (company break till ~ CNY Day 7)
