About this role:
We are seeking a Manager of Project Management to guide our creative team's project initiatives. This role is central to our operation, blending project management acumen with creative process insight to drive project success. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven expertise in managing a variety of creative projects, embodying leadership qualities that inspire teams and delivering projects that align with strategic business goals. Your responsibilities will include the development of project management SOPs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through excellent project outcomes.
What you'll do
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
- Champion strategic initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams towards unified objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
- Serve as a mentor to project management staff, guiding skill development and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Project Management Excellence:
- Develop, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to establish best practices in project management, enhancing efficiency and consistency.
- Champion end-to-end project management, steering projects from inception through to completion, within scope, and budget, aligning with the strategic vision.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Act as the key liaison for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates, soliciting feedback, and ensuring project objectives meet stakeholder needs.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, employing a consultative approach to understand requirements and deliver value-driven project outcomes.
Operational and Strategic Oversight:
- Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments, adjusting project strategies to navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 5 years in project management within a creative agency or similar environment, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience in building and guiding teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing various stakeholders.
- Strategic and analytical thinking abilities, with a capacity to oversee multiple projects and drive them to successful completion.
- Experience in project management platforms, tools and software including but not limited to the likes of Zoho, Notion, Bitable, Asana, ResourceGuru, JIRA, Float, monday.com etc.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
